Colorado

Some unfortunate people have never been to Colorado and don't know what to expect. Well, from those of us who have been, here's a peak:

Bring a blanket and pillow (and tie your stroller to the coat hanger hook in the back of your van so it doesn't fall on the kids) and bring some barbies for the girls to play with.  (Sewing machine?? Maybe we should just make all our clothes for the family pictures, ya know? Like old times:) )

Behold what your sewing machine can do:

Plenty of vistas around

Horseback riding for 4. (Did you have to pay by the horse back then, so you just threw the whole family on its back?)

This actually looks cool. Nice country. This time we won't need a guide. Trent can just show us how to ride and lead us on our own true wild west adventure.

Don't forget to bring your pennies.
Do they have the train schedule posted online so we know when it passes by?

Court gets bunny eared.

Steph came accessorized. Glasses and purse. So glamorous.

Don't worry kids, just look ahead at me and smile....

'Been doin' this for years.

Used to have table tennis on top level of pool area.

Mesa Verde

You will have to work for your food as well this upcoming trip.

Fish hatchery.

Or if you prefer, head down to a nearby lake and catch your own. Looks like this guy can show you how it's done. Impressive.

Don't expect all play and no work.
(I don't think this is from Colorado trip. Maybe on the way to Glacier Natnl Park?)

If you're a light sleeper, grab a few of these. It'll be some cozy quarters.

...and we can always throw a couple of the kids in the tub if you need some extra space. They don't mind. Ask Scotty.

Who commited the worse fashion no-no: Mom or Dad?
