Pool Party. Kings house. Be there.

To get the party started out right, you must work up to it. Take a little stroll around the park....or backyard track.  This kid is using careful navigational focus. Do not disturb!!!

I'm stuck. Where's the gear shaft on this thing???
Maybe it's back here???

These curves can be tricky to navigate.
It ain't easy being a biker-dude.

There was another dude at the house. And he was also in do not disturb mode. Unless...ya want to talk football...then come on over, but bring the popcorn.
With only 2 kids who are semi-permanent residents, Mom and Dad have much tomfoolery to watch out for. Football games and lego house building. Bunch of hooligan kids.

Baby Kyleigh tested out the waters. And would splash around with one hand, switch to the other, next the leg, now the other leg...and repeat.

The pre-party was a girls only venture. No boys allowed.

Kyleigh Mae found the sweet spot.

Mom and Dad-in-training teach a kid how to swim. They skipped the crawling, cruising and walking stages...went straight to swimming. Good luck, Jace.

Pretty Momma. No wonder some people question whether Kyleigh is mine or yours....

Doing the grandparent thing.

Whoa! Do we have Safety Patrol out there? Someone is trying to escape!

Oh, there he is. Mr. Muscles our Safety Patrolboy. With you in the water, Sissy is safe.

Pretty Courtney

Uh oh, I think we need a Safety Patrolman for our Safety Patrolboy.

Like Allstate, in good hands :) Right, bud?

This ride is better than Disneyland!

Oh finally! A real Safety Patrolman. Someone to keep the poor boy safe!

Oops, nevermind.

Well, if you're going to get thrown in unannounced and unexpectedly, you might as well learn how to swim with the big dogs. So big dog #1 and 2 are teaching mini-man how to swim.

B has no patience for this. And about this time, he was shivering pretty good from having no body fat to keep him warm.

He found a guy with some (very, very little) body fat to share. As well as a pretty pink towel.
Maddy is about to demonstrate how to successfully perform a Wipeout stunt. She was good, but Jared's time beat hers. Figures.

Hehe, Kyleigh looks like she has Elvis hair.  ;)

Should we tell her that the last grandkid that went up with Pop Pop ended up being thrown over the cliff?

I think she is suspicious...

Looks like they need a couple of pina coladas and life would be real swell.

He and the cliff making friends.

Uh oh. Danger lurks.

And attacks! But Brenden has watched plenty of Bugs...he knows what to do....

Such excellent form. Next time, keep your eyes open.

Swan dive.    (And Brenden looks like he is about to follow)

ARIEL!!! Oh wait, this one is Cinderella. Steph is Ariel.

Next generation Ariel in training.

Most definitely had a good weekend....even though the pool was a tad on the chilly side. Bike riding, BBQing, swimming and family time overshadow that small un-pleasantry. Too bad this little girl's cousin Abby couldn't have arrived a week or so earlier!!! They could have been matching in twin bathing suits. Next time we should do a little more coordinating so that this next pool party has a few Cannons involved.

What time is the party next year?

Who commited the worse fashion no-no: Mom or Dad?
